With our commitment towards the people and planet, SeetKamal strives for closed-loop circuits. Our ambition is to reduce the use of resources such as energy, water and raw materials across the whole value-creation chain. Here are some of the initiatives taken by SeetKamal.

SCRAPSTORY is our range of upcycled materials and products with mainstream production possibilities, which includes the following;

Musa

Musa is a bio leather developed from banana fibre and sheep wool. While banana fibre is a post harvest waste, sheep wool is a by product of the agriculture industry.*Patent in Process

KATRAN

Katran is a biodegradable material made out of shredded cotton fabric waste of the fashion industry. Katran is a part of our range of upcycled materials developed from industrial and agricultural waste.*Patent in Process

CIRCULEATHER

A recycled leather made using wasted leather. Nearly 30% of the total leather is wasted in the process of tanning. We use this pre consumer waste to make a recycled material we call Circuleather.

CanTann

A waxed-canvas finish made out by recycling shredded pre-consumer leather waste.

NEWSREUSE

We keep exploring new materials. Our scope of work includes cork, jute, bamboo, felt, recycled posters/ newspapers/ industrial sacks, indian textiles and weaves, chalkboard, canvas etc.
